Srinagar: J&K State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has decided to change the pattern of question papers for Class 10th and 12th examinations from next academic year.
Chairperson JKBOSE, Veena Pandita said, “Schools were going for affiliation with Central Board of School Education (CBSE) instead of JKBOSE”. She added, “We worked it out and decided to change the question paper pattern of 10th and 12th classes from next year”.
She further added, “Model question papers will be available on our website as a pre-information to the students and the whole School Education Department.”
Pandita said that they had also mooted a proposal to change the question paper pattern. She added, “Once we finish the exam of this year, then a meeting will be conducted where we will decide this entire thing.”
She further added, “We have not yet decided that we are going to do this, but have decided that JKBOSE will study CBSC pattern so that we will decide further.”
She added, “Once we start academic meet, we will take decision. We are presently busy with the annual exams of Class 10th to 12th. Once we complete the exam of these classes then we will decide what to do.” (PTK)
