SRINAGAR — Following the announcement of the annual regular results of Class 12th for Kashmir division, the official website of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) ‘crashed’ due to heavy traffic, causing inconvenience to the students.
The candidates told news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they couldn’t access the official website of JKBOSE.
“It took me nearly 40 minutes to check my results. The JKBOSE website was overloaded and that caused inconvenience to the students,” a student said.
He also said, “The government, on the one hand, is spending a hefty amount to develop the websites for the students, but on the other hand JKBOSE seems to be least interested in declaring the results in a smooth way.”
KNO received several such calls from the students, who couldn’t check their results smoothly.
When contacted officials of JKBOSE to comment on the issue, they were unable to answer the calls from this reporter.
