Kashmir University holds Counseling for MAT/UGAT

Srinagar: To acquaint the prospective candidates of the programmes about the various dimensions of MAT/UGAT Centre for Career Planning and Counseling University of Kashmir, Srinagar today organized day long sessions in its Convocation Complex.
About 300 students from across the valley participated in the forenoon and afternoon sessions held in the convocation complex of the university of Kashmir.
Presiding the sessions Prof Musadiq Amin Sahaf Director centre for career planning and councelling said that the seminar was held in context of the decision of the University Council at its meeting held on October, 2011, that University shall consider CAT/MAT and UGAT Scores for admission to Master of Bussiness Administration and Master of Finance and Control (MBA/MFC and MBA (Integrated) Programmes respectively from the current academic session.
Prof. Sahaf said that now onwards students who want to pursue MBA or MFC through Kashmir University need to know about CAT and MAT thoroughly. He informed that next MAT examination is scheduled to be held on 6th May 2012. Prof shahaf assured the prospective candidates for all help from CCPC KU in run up to the preparation of CAT, MAT or UGAT.
Resources persons from career launcher Mr Vijay and Mr Rahul acted as the resource persons for various sessions held during the day.
