KU postpones BG 2nd Semester’s EVS & other papers

SRINAGAR — The examination of Environmental Science paper of BG 2nd Semester has been postponed by the University of Kashmir. The paper was scheduled to be held today at 03:00 PM.

“The examination of the following papers of BG 2nd Semester of Regular/Fresh Private candidates (Batch-2018) and Backlog candidates of BG 2nd Semester (Batch-2016) scheduled for 11/05/2019 (Saturday) and 13/05/2019 (Monday) are hereby postponed,” a notification issued by the University reads.

It is in place to mention that on 11 May, 2019 (Saturday), the examination of Environmental Studies paper was scheduled while as on 13th May, 2019 (Monday), examination for Chemistry, Electronics, Political Science, Education, Islamic Studies, English Literature (Batch 2018), Political Science (Generic Elective-II-BMMMC), Electronics (Generic Elective-BCA), Islamic Studies (BF-208), British Poetry & Drama 17th & 18th Century (BAH-BATCH-2018), Academic Writing & Composition (2018), English Literature (Generic Elective-II-BMMMC) papers was slated.

“Fresh date of the same shall be notified separately,” a statement from the University said.

Pertinently, BG 2nd Semester’s English question paper was leaked on social media 17 hours prior to the scheduled timing of exams.

Reports also suggest that Environmental Science paper was also leaked just an hour before the examination today.
