
SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday ordered the extension of last date for depositing school fees up to April 30 and also directed all the private schools to issue appropriate directions in this regard.
According to reports, the government has directed private schools to extend last date for depositing school fees from March 30 to April 30 without any late fees.
The government has also directed the private schools not to charge any fee for the online lectures/assignments given to the students amid lockdown in the Union Territory.
In an order issued by Principal Secretary to the Government School Education Department, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon said that the directions shall apply to all private schools affiliated to any Board functioning in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
The order reads that if there was violation reported, it shall be viewed seriously and stern action under rules will be taken against the violators.
