Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir on Tuesday declared all Government and private schools closed for the day in view of safety of school children due to wind storm.
However, all offices will remain open.
Gusty winds created panic here on late Monday night. Officials said winds would continue to blow till Tuesday afternoon. They advised people to stay indoors and not to panic.
