Srinagar: The state government Sunday ordered extension of winter vacation in the schools upto eighth standard till March 10.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, Special Secretary School Education Arifullah said formal orders have been issued for extending winter vacations of the schools including private educational institutions upto class 8th till March 10. He said these schools will now open on March 11.
“However, there will be no extension in vacation of students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th classes,” he said.
