Srinagar: University of Kashmir has released the Model Question Paper for UG 5th, 6th Semester (Batch 2015).
The Model Question Paper for UG 5th, 6th Semester (Batch 2015) reveals that there will be two section – Section-A and Section-B. The time allowed for writing answers will be one and a half hour.
For Non-Lab Courses, Section-A will have four questions among which candidates need to attempt only two. Each question will carry 30 marks.
On the other hand, Section-B will also have four questions among which students need to attempt only one. The question will, however, carry 40 marks.
For Lab Courses, Section-A will have four questions among which candidates need to attempt only two. Each question will carry 24 marks.
On the other hand, Section-B will also have four questions among which students need to attempt only one. The question will, however, carry 32 marks.
The University also informed that the examination of 5th & 6th Semester of Undergraduate programme (Semester Scheme) for the students of Batch-2015, shall be conducted together from June, 25th 2018.
The following pattern will be followed for the conduct of these examinations:
⇒ The students will be provided with Two Question Papers and Two Answer Scripts i.e, one question paper for 5th Semester and second question paper for 6th Semester. Each paper shall have time duration of 11/2 hours.
⇒ The pattern of question papers shall remain the same as is in vogue, however, the
students will be provided with ample choice to account for their time loss.
Pertinently, University of Kashmir (KU) earlier deferred PG Entrance Test to July, 2018. The decision to defer entrance test for admission to post graduation and other programmes was taken in a meeting of the Academic Council of the University.
“The exams for 5th and 6th semester undergraduate students will be conducted till the month of July and the same batch will be eligible to appear in the KU entrance test as well,” an official from the University of Kashmir, wishing not to be named, had said.
