SRINAGAR — Twelve travellers were among 65 fresh COVID-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials said that among the fresh cases, 16 were from Jammu Division and 49 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall virus tally to 124659.
Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 23 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 5, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 6, Bandipora 2, Ganderbal 7, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 9, Udhampur 6, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
Moreover, they said, 61 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—27 from Jammu Division and 34 from Kashmir valley.
55-year-old among three more die due to COVID-19
Jammu and Kashmir reported three more deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality to 1941, officials said on Tuesday.
The victims include a 65-year-old woman from Mattan Anantnag, an 80-year-old man from Buchpora Srinagar and 55-year-old man from Kathua.
With these deaths, the fatality count has reached 1941 in J&K—1219 in Valley and 722 in Jammu division, the officials said.
Srinagar district with 458 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (371), Baramulla (174), Budgam (118), Kupwara (95), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (86), Doda (64), Bandipora (61), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (54), Rajouri (55), Kathua (53), Ganderbal (46), Shopian (39), Samba (40), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar (22), and Reasi (15).
