SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir reported 55 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total case tally to 125007.
Among the fresh cases, officials said that 17 cases were reported from Jammu and 38 from Kashmir Valley.
Giving the district-wise details, they said that Srinagar reported 19 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 8, Pulwama 5, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 0, Shopian 1, Jammu 8, Udhampur 7, Rajouri 1, Doda 1, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
The officials said that out of 125007 cases, 593 are active positive, 122470 have recovered and 1944 have died—722 in Jammu division and 1222 in Kashmir.
They said said that out of 4730411 test results available, 4605404 samples have been tested as negative till 9th of February, 2021.
Till date, 1184419 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 34164 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 593 in isolation and 105475 in home surveillance. Besides, they said, 1042243 persons have completed their surveillance period.
