SRINAGAR — Twenty travellers were among 65 new COVID-19 cases reported even as two more people died due to the virus in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Tuesday.
They said that among the fresh cases, 15 were from Jammu division and 50 from Kashmir division. Also, they said both the COVID-19 deaths have been reported from Kashmir division, taking the fatality count to 628 in J&K—500 in Kashmir and 128 in the Jammu.
Giving the district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 20 cases, Baramulla 6, Budgam 4, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 1, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 1, Shopian 1, Jammu 9, Udhampur 6, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
Moreover, they said, 40 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—six from Jammu Division and 34 from Kashmir Division.
Among the total 1,25,117 cases, 628 are active positive even as 1,22,542 people have recovered, and 1,947 died.
