Pulwama woman gives birth to triplets in LD Hospital

SRINAGAR — A woman from south Kashmir gave birth to triplets at Valley’s prime maternity specialty, Lal Ded Hospital here in Srinagar city.

Medical Superintendent Lal Ded Hospital, Dr Shabir Sidiqui said that such incidents are common at this maternity hospital.

“Some woman even give birth to quintuplets here in the hospital. Today, a woman from south Kashmir’s Pulwama gave birth to triplets – all are baby girls,” he said.

“All the babies are in good condition,” he said and lauded the role of doctors.

The woman hails from Drabgam area of Pulwama district.
