SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir reported 113 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total case count to 122651, officials said on Monday.
Among the cases, the officials said that 67 of these cases were reported from Kashmir Valley and the remaining from the Jammu division.
Giving the district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 42 cases, Baramulla 1, Budgam 7, Kupwara 5, Pulwama 4, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 1, Kulgam 1, Shopian 1, Jammu 35, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 2, Doda 0, Kathua 2, Kishtwar 1, Samba 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
Elderly man falls victim to COVID-19, J&K toll 1911
An 85-year-old man became one more victim of COVID-19 in J&K, taking the fatality count to 1911.
A resident of Subash Nagar of Jammu, the octogenarian died at a hospital in the Winter capital, officials said.
So far, 1199 people died in the Valley while 712 have succumbed to the virus in Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 451 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (365), Baramulla (172), Budgam (111), Kupwara (94), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (84), Doda (64), Bandipora (61), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (53), Rajouri (55), Kathua (50), Ganderbal (46), Shopian (39), Samba (39), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar (22), and Reasi (15).
