35 travelers among 232 fresh COVID-19 cases in J&K

SRINAGAR — Thirty-five persons were among 232 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours in J&K, taking the overall count to 118495.

Among these cases, 129 were reported from Jammu Division and 103 from Kashmir Valley, the officials said.

Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 36 cases, Baramulla 9, Budgam 10, Kupwara 15, Pulwama 18, Anantnag 4, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 5, Kulgam 2, Shopian 4, Jammu 97, Udhampur 8, Rajouri 2, Doda 2, Kathua 9, Kishtwar 0, Samba 2, Poonch 3, Ramban 0 and Reasi 6.

Moreover, they said, 458 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals — 192 from Jammu Division and 266 from Kashmir Valley.

COVID-19 claims three more lives, J&K toll 1844

Jammu and Kashmir reported three more deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 1844 in J&K.

Two among the victims belonged to Kashmir Valley division and one to Jammu, officials said on Monday.

The victims include a 70-year-old man from Khalmulla Ganderbal and a 70-year-old woman from Natipora Srinagar, besides one from Jammu district.

With these deaths, the total fatality count in J&K reached 1844—1168 in the Valley and 676 in the Jammu region.

Srinagar district with 443 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (344), Baramulla (170), Budgam (106), Pulwama (88), Kupwara (88), Anantnag (82), Doda (60), Bandipora (58), Udhampur (52), Kulgam (53), Rajouri (54), Kathua (48), Ganderbal (43), Shopian (37), Samba (36), Poonch (22), Ramban (21), Kishtwar (21), and Reasi (13).
