Amid protests, JKSSB defers computer-based exams to April 5

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board on Tuesday deferred computer based examinations for various posts scheduled to be held from March 16 to April 05.

The JKSSB on its official Twitter handle said the Computer Based Examinations for various posts scheduled w.e.f. 16.03.2023 to 05.04.2023 are deferred till further intimation.

Notably, hundreds of job aspirants have been on protest against JKSSB over hiring of controversial and blacklisted APTECH firm to conduct computer based exams for various posts.

The job aspirants have been demanding roll back of contract to APTECH firm even as JKSSB has said the blacklisting period of the firm was over last year.

On Monday, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, while assuring job aspirants of transparency in the recruitment process, said some deliberate attempts are being made to stall recruitment process by instigating youth to protest against JKSSB.
