Congress asks for job security of NHM employees in J&K

SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today draw the attention of UT administration towards the job security of NHM employees, urging it to review NHM job policy.

In a statement issued here, the JKPCC President, G.A. Mir has drawn the attention of the UT administration towards the miseries of NHM employees, who are working neck to neck with their regular counterparts, while having achieved nothing even after 12 years of service as far as their salaries is concerned.

JKPCC President said NHM workers were working vigorous in any untoward situation, but it was very unfortunate that there was no job security for them, which needs be addressed, at right earnest.

The NHM employees have approached concerned authorities on various occasions, but nothing seems to have been done in their favour, G.A. Mir said.

JKPCC president urged the UT administration to review the NHM job policy in order to ensure job security to employees. “They too serve the society to the best of their ability,” G.A. Mir said while seeking early action to this effect.
