
SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir reported eleven more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 1467, officials said on Thursday.
Among those who succumbed to the virus include seven from Kashmir Valley and three from Jammu, they said.
The victims from the valley include man from Nouroo Budgam, man from Chandoosa Baramulla, woman from Chattergam Bagh-e-Mehtab, man from Shalimar Srinagar, man from Hamdania Colony Bemina, woman from Lal Bazar Srinagar and man from Chanapora Srinagar.
The victims from Jammu region include a 44-year-old man from Bakshi Nagar Jammu and two persons from Udhampur, besides one from Rajouri.
With these deaths, the fatality count has reached 975 in Valley and 492 in Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 352 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (252), Baramulla (144), Budgam (94), Pulwama (80), Kupwara (72), Anantnag (74), Kulgam (46), Bandipora (46), Rajouri (47), Doda (45), Shopian (35), Ganderbal (32), Udhampur (32), Kathua (31), Samba (25), Poonch (23), Kishtwar (14), Ramban (13), and Reasi (8).
