SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir reported 15 more COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count past 1300 mark.

Official sources said that 12 of those who succumbed to the virus were from Jammu division and three others were from the Kashmir Valley.

Among others, the deaths include a 90-year-old, a 52-year-old woman, a 60-year-old man and a 52-year-old man from Jammu.

Three among the victims were residents of Kashmir Valley including an 85-year-old from Zakoora who was admitted today to a hospital here and a 70-year-old man from Gulab Bagh Zakura Srinagar, originally from Naribal Amda Kadal Lal Bazar, who was admitted to the hospital on October 3.

With these deaths, officials said, 1308 people have succumbed to the virus in Jammu and Kashmir so far—887 from the Valley and 421 from Jammu division.

Srinagar district with 312 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (219), Baramulla (127), Budgam (89), Pulwama (73), Kupwara (71), Anantnag (69), Kulgam (43), Bandipora (41), Rajouri (41), Doda (38), Shopian (32), Ganderbal (30), Kathua (29), Samba (24), Udhampur (22), Poonch (18), Ramban (11), Kishtwar (11) and Reasi (6).
