COVID-19: J&K records highest jump so far, tally now 125

SRINAGAR — The Jammu and Kashmir continued to witness surge in the number of positive cases with government stating that 15 more cases have been detected on Tuesday, taking the toll of overall cases to 125 across the Union Territory.

Government spokesman, Rohit Kansal in his tweet informed that 15 more patients have been tested positive today, saying that nine among them have been detected in Valley while the rest of six were detected in Jammu region.

He informed that the toll of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir has mounted to 125, saying that the number of active cases across the Union Territory has gone up to 118.

Kansal further informed that 24 cases out of 125 are in Jammu region while as 94 cases are in Kashmir Valley.

“#COVID19 #JammuAndKashmir Status Update 125 cases in all now; 118 active cases; 24 in Jammu Division, 94 in Kashmir. 6 new cases in Jammu division today, 9 in Kashmir. Aggressive contact tracing; red zones to continue,” Kansal tweeted.
