COVID-19: J&K tally 114 as five more test positive

SRINAGAR — The number of coronavirus cases climbed to 114 in Jammu and Kashmir as five more persons under quarantine tested positive for the dreaded disease on Tuesday.

Among them, sources said three are from Lalbazar locality and include two sisters aged 20 and 23-years-old and their 19-year-old cousin brother. The trio was placed in quarantine centre in Hazratbal and was shifted to Chest Disease hospital today after they tested positive for coronavirus.

While two others include one from Hajin area of Bandipora and other are from Srinagar district. Both are admitted to SKIMS Soura.

With these 5 fresh cases, 114 people have tested positive for the coronavirus disease and of them, 107 are active cases—89 in Kashmir and 18 in Jammu division. Among all 114 cases, four have recovered and were discharged while two others have died.
