SRINAGAR — Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police (DGP), Dilbag Singh on Friday ordered the transfer and posting of 77 Deputy Superintendents of Police in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to an order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), DGP has asked for immediate relief of all officers in order to join new places of posting.

“In the interest of administration, transfer and posting of the following Deputy Superintendents of Police from and to the places shown against each is ordered with immediate effect,” reads the order.

It reads that they shall be relieved immediately for their new places of posting and compliance report submitted to PHQ.

It further reads that one post of DySP from overall reserves is attached with DPO Srinagar for drawal of salary of Gaurav Sikarwar, ASP, till his return from training.

As per the order, 10 DySPs have also been given additional charge of vacant posts in addition to their own duties.
