Beyond strengthening the overall security apparatus of Jammu & Kashmir, this initiative holds the promise of opening avenues of employment for local youth. The absence of recruitment at the Constable level had strained the manpower resources of the J&K Police, impacting operational readiness and service delivery.

The forthcoming recruitment process, to be conducted by the Services Selection Board, will provide aspiring candidates with the opportunity to apply and participate, aligning with the government’s commitment to generating employment opportunities for local youth.
