Arms and ammunition recovered in J&K’s Poonch

POONCH — Joint Forces in Jammu and Kashmir recovered arms and ammunition in Poonch district of Jammu.

“The recovery was made after three militant associates arrested a couple of days back were put to sustained questioning,” Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch, Ramesh Agarwal said.

He said two pistols, 70 pistol rounds and two grenades kept in bushes near LoC in Dabbi village of Balakote Sector in Mendhar Poonch were recovered during wee hours by a search party led by Sub Divisional Police Officer Mendhar, Zaheer Jafri.
