Grenades and cartridges recovered in Samba village

SAMBA — Combined government forces recovered live grenades and cartridges from a village in Samba district of Jammu Kashmir during a search operation.

Police sources said that combined Forces including soldiers and police launched a search operation in Goran village of Samba after a special input.

During the search operation, the Forces recovered 3 live grenades and 54 cartridges.

Sources added that some villagers, after seeing the grenades and cartridges, informed police, who accordingly launched a search operation.

“We have recovered grenades and cartridges from a village. We are investigating the matter,” a police official said.
