The recovery was made following a joint operation involving the Special Operations Group (SOG) Doda, Rashtriya Rifles (RR), and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
In a post on X, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said, “SOG Doda, RR and CRPF retrieved the remains of a Pakistani Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist, who was neutralised earlier in a Joint Op.”
“An M-4 night-enabled has also been recovered,” the police added, using the hashtag “You Can Run, But You Can’t Hide!”
The identity of the neutralised terrorist is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited, officials said.
