Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Poonch

POONCH — Pakistani troops on Friday violated the ceasefire by targeting forward posts and villages along the Line of Control in Poonch district, a Defence source said.

“The mortar shelling and small arms firing from across the border started in Sawjiyan sectors around 8:15 AM in the morning,” he said.

“The cross-border firing between the two sides was continuing when last reports were received,” he said, adding that there was no report of any casualty on the Indian side.
