Shameful! 6-year-old raped in Doda

DODA — Police on Monday morning arrested a person accused of raping a six-year-old in Kundi village of Chiralla tehsil in Doda district.

While divulging the details, police said that they had received a complaint about the alleged rape of a six-year-old girl child and added that it was too early to say anything as further investigation into the matter was underway.

They also confirmed that the accused has been arrested and FIR No. 65/2021 under Section 363, 376 IPC and 4 POSCO Act has been registered at Police Station Thathri.

A senior police official said that a case will be listed for fast-track trial as per the procedure and assured of taking the case to its logical conclusion.
