Srinagar youth found dead in Gujjar Nagar hotel

SRINAGAR — A youth was found dead in a hotel in Gujjar Nagar area of Jammu, officials said.

They said that a youth identified as Shaqir Mehraj Dar son of Mehraj-ud-din Dar, a resident of Mehjoor Nagar, Srinagar, was found unconscious at a hotel in Gujjar Nagar in the intervening night.

They said that he was immediately shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment, where he was declared dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started an investigation in this connection.
