J&K Govt employees to get salaries on July 30

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir government employees have a good news as authorities have decided to release their salaries on July 30.

The decision for releasing of salaries days before scheduled time has been taken in view of Eid-ul-Azha.

Financial Commissioner Finance Department Friday issued an order, which says, “It is hereby ordered that salary bills for the month of July, 2020 shall be presented in the Treasuries on 29th of July, 2020 for advance payment of salary on 30th of July, 2020.”

An official said that the government has decided to release salaries of over 4 lakh employees in view of Eid-ul-Azha.
