J&K Police launches app for citizen-centric services

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday launched a mobile phone application, appealing people to make full use of the application.

In a statement issued to the news agency KNO, a police spokesman said that J&K Police has launched an app for citizen-centric services with one click.

“Public is requested to please download JK e-Cop app from Play Store & Apple Store for getting emergency services at ease. It is single window solution for almost all police related issues like lodging complaint (FIR), giving information, reporting traffic violation, seeking emergency help, status of highway, details of a case, paying challan online, getting character certificate, doing tenant/PG verification etc,” police said.

Meanwhile, police advised people to make full use of the app.
