
SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir reported 127 cases of novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.
They said Srinagar reported 5 cases, Baramulla 3, Budgam 0, Kupwara 5, Pulwama 2, Anantnag 0 Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 4, Kulgam 0, Shopian 2, Jammu 47, Udhampur 44, Rajouri 5, Doda 3, Kathua 1, Kishtwar 0, Samba 6, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
J&K reports three more Corona deaths, Toll 1903
Three more persons succumbed to COVID-19 during the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count due to the pestilence in Jammu and Kashmir to 1903, officials said on Thursday.
They said that two among the victims belonged to Kashmir Valley—a 75-year-old female from Mammer Ganderbal and a 75-year-old man from Khayam Srinagar—and one to Jammu.
With these deaths, the total fatality count reached 1196 in the Valley while 707 have succumbed to the virus in Jammu region.
Srinagar district with 451 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (362), Baramulla (172), Budgam (110), Kupwara (93), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (84), Doda (64), Bandipora (60), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (53), Rajouri (54), Kathua (49), Ganderbal (41), Shopian (39), Samba (39), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar (22), and Reasi (15).
