JKSSB issues provisional shortlist for various posts for KPs

SRINAGAR — Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a shortlist for various posts advertised in December 2020 under Prime Minister’s Package for Kashmiri Migrants and Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits.

A notification in this regard says that a Computer Based Written Test (CBT) was conducted for 1997 posts advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2020 dated 01.12.2020 for Prime Minister’s Package for Kashmiri Migrants and Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits from 29.03.2021 to 05.04 2021.

Based on the performance of the candidates in CBT, the results/score sheets were notified vide notice number SSB/Secy/Sel/2022/3356-64 dated 22-04-2021 on the basis of Percentile Score by using Normalisation Procedure, it says.

Accordingly, the candidates figuring in the successive Annexures (A, B, C, D, E, F, G) in this regard have been provisionally shortlisted for Counselling-cum-Document Verification on the basis of Percentile Score acquired by them in the CBT examination, it says.

“It may be noted that the candidates figuring in provisional shortlist are up to five times subject to availability in the respective Percentile Score Sheet to the actual number of posts and as such candidates figuring (in the annexure) shall not have entitlement/claim to his/her inclusion in the final selection list, simply on the ground of figuring in the provisional shortlist,” it underlines.

Meanwhile, the candidates figuring in the provisional shortlist have been asked to appear before the Counselling-cum-Docent Verification Committee on the dates separately notified by the Board.

The notification contends that the candidates belonging from Reserved Categories figuring in the list are taken into consideration purely on the basis of details such candidates have incorporated in their online application form.

“The respective claims, of such candidates, are further subject to the production of valid Reserve Category certificate at the time of Counselling-cum-Document Verification, in addition to the normal process of verification required,” the notification further underscores.
