20-year-old woman dies in accident in Tangmarg

SRINAGAR — A lady died while the driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries after their car met with an accident in Drang area of Tangmarg here in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Sources said that an Alto (JK05G-9246) driven by a 22-year-old youth met with an accident. At the time of accident, a lady, who was also present in the vehicle, sustained injuries. Both the youth and the lady were shifted to Sub District Hospital Tangmarg where the lady succumbed to her injures.

The deceased lady has been identified as Abida Bano daughter of Abdul Ahad Beigh, a resident of Bitchpora Tangmarg.

The driver of the vehicle, Irfan Ahmed Reshi son of Abdul Rashid of Pariswani, has been shifted to Srinagar hospital.
