30-year-old found dead by apparent suicide in Sopore village

SRINAGAR — A distressing event unfolded as a 30-year-old man was found deceased, reportedly by hanging, at his residence in Hygam village located in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, sources revealed.

According to information obtained from a local wire service, the individual, a 30-year-old resident of Hygam Sopore, was found hanging at his home, where the tragic incident occurred.

A police team responded to the distress call and recovered the body, subsequently transporting it to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Sopore for further examination and procedures, as informed by sources familiar with the incident.

A police official, speaking to the news agency, confirmed the recovery of the deceased’s body and mentioned that authorities are in the process of gathering additional details to ascertain the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
