30-year-old man’s dead body found in Pulwama

PULWAMA — A 30-year-old man was found dead on Thursday under mysterious conditions in Batnoor Shahoora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Sources told CNS that the body was spotted by locals in a paddy field and immediately, police was informed. On reaching the spot, the police team took the body into their possession for legal formalities.

Meanwhile, a police official while confirming the recovery of the body said that the deceased was later identified as Ali Mohammad Bhat (30), a resident of Barsoo Awantipora.

“Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident,” he added.
