ACB files FIR against Class-IV employee for alleged disproportionate assets

SRINAGAR — The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed an FIR (No. 11/2024) against Mohammad Shafi Rather, a Class-IV employee in the Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs department in Baramulla.

The case accuses Rather of accumulating assets worth crores through corrupt practices.

The properties in question include multiple houses and plots of land situated in Baramulla and Jammu, which are significantly disproportionate to Rather’s known income.

The ACB has initiated an investigation into these allegations.
