BANDIPORA — A BJP leader on Monday claimed that in the coming days, all the civil and police administration will be of BJP. He made this claim in a party convention at Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Senior BJP leader Muhammad Maqbool War said that the reshuffle in police and civil administration will possibly take place on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) or it will happen on October 5.
War said: “Garib Das, the friend of Iqbal Jan (BJP leader who was present in the convention) will be the new IGP. Whole administration will be ours. DC, SP, DSP, SHO everyone will be from BJP,” he claimed while addressing the party workers.
He said those who loot public will be transferred. “A DSP draws Rs 65,000 per month but how come it is possible for him to purchase land worth Rs 2 crore on Airport Road and raise a building worth Rs 12 crore. We won’t spare them,” War said.
He said: “Our Army is there to deal with militants but for us, corrupt elements are militants and we are fighting against them. A peon, an SPO earns Rs 8 lakh per month. These should be transferred to Gujarat,” he said and claimed that nobody dares to pass through a police station because the said person knows he will be looted.
