PULWAMA — Azim Iqbal, who was serving at Police Station Litter in the south Kashmir district, has been transferred and posted as Station House Officer (SHO) Pulwama.

As per an order (No. Estt/T-2/2023/848-60) issued by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pulwama, Ghulam Jeelani Wani, the transfers of nine police officers have been initiated within the district.

“In the interest of administration, the below-mentioned officers of this district are hereby transferred from and to the places shown against each with immediate effect,” the order reads.

The officers who have been transferred include Inspr. Basharat Ali (from PS Pulwama to SIU Pulwama), Inspr. Azim Iqbal (from PS Litter to PS Pulwama as SHO), Inspr. Waseem Gull (from DPL Pulwama to PS Rajpora as SHO), Inspr. Gh Hassan (from DPL Pulwama to PS Litter as SHO).

Also, Inspr. Zaffar Iqbal has been transferred from PS Rajpora to DPL Pulwama, SI Shah Faisal has been transferred from PC Pulwama to I/C PC Rajpora, SI Ashish Pandita has been transferred from PC Pulwama to I/C PC Newa, SI Tariq Ahmad has been transferred from SIU Pulwama to DPL Pulwama and ASS Ab. Khaliq has been transferred from PC Newa to PC Pulwama.

“They shall be deemed to have been relieved w.e.f /01/2023,” the order concluded.
