
ANANTNAG — A COVID-19 infected girl from Bangladesh has gone missing from a quarantine centre in Akura area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Sources said that 18-year-old Chandni had been brought to the hospital by Child Welfare Committee and after testing positive for COVID-19, she had been quarantined at Akura Anantnag.
The girl who hails from Bangladesh and daughter of Muhammad Younis Mian has now gone missing. In this regard, Block Medical Officer Mattan, Dr Saleem has written a letter vide number 1227-31; dated: 26-8-2020 informing about the girl being missing.
BMO Dr Saleem confirmed that the said girl is missing and a missing report has been lodged at a local police station.
