Body recovered after unknown person jumps into Dal Lake in Srinagar

SRINAGAR — An unknown person jumped into Dal Lake in front of Nishat Garden in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday.

An official quoted by the local news agency Kashmir Scroll said that an unknown person jumped into Dal Lake in front of Nishat Garden.

He said that the rescue operation was started soon after the incident and later a body was recovered.

Meanwhile, identification of the dead body is being ascertained and further investigation has been taken up.
