Boy slips to death from hill in Sopore

SOPORE — A 20-year-boy slipped to death from a hill in Zaingeer area of Sopore belt on Saturday evening.

Reports reaching here said that a 20-year-old boy identified as Junaid Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat of Sagipora went for trekking to nearby forest along with other friends. However, he lost his balance due to slippery condition of road following fresh rainfall and fell down from a hill into deep george.

Reports said after hours of search operation, his body was found in a nallah late on Saturday night.

A police officer also confirmed this incident and said that in this regard, a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
