Budgam Police solves Petrol Pump cash looting case

BUDGAM — Police on Monday claimed that they have arrested a 27-year-old youth in connection with a cash looting case at a Petrol Pump in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

It is pertinent to mention that unidentified gunmen had looted Rs. 4 lakh from a Petrol Pump in Nadigam area of Budgam a few days ago by threatening the employees present there.

The unknown Gunmen had forcefully made their way into the counter of the Petrol Pump, namely Mir Filling Station, situated between Chewa and Nadigam which is owned by Rouf Ahmad Mir.

Senior police officials said that in this connection, police in Budgam arrested a local from Dandoosa Bemina who reportedly is a mechanic by profession.

Sources added that the arrested youth is being questioned and police have got some vital proof in the case. However, they said that the case is yet to reach its logical conclusion.
