
GANDERBAL — A civil bus hired by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) fell into Nallah Sindh near Kullan Bridge in Ganderbal district on Wednesday morning, leaving the driver injured, officials said.
An unnamed official, quoted by the news agency KNC, said the incident occurred when the bus (Registration No. JK01N/1007), hired by ITBP Adhoc, developed a fault, and personnel attempted to push-start it. During the process, the driver lost control, and the vehicle skidded off the road into the Nallah.
The injured driver, identified as Waseem Ahmad Dar, son of Ali Mohmad Dar, a resident of Ganastan Sumbal Bandipora, was immediately shifted to PHC Kullan, where doctors said his condition is stable.
