
PULWAMA — Joint Forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at Shaldraman village of Tral town here in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police sources said that the village was under siege after Joint Forces received inputs about the movement of militants.
Sources added that soldiers from 42 Rashtriya Rifles, 180 Battalion CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted door-to-door search operation and thoroughly checked the identity cards of locals.
Sources added that nothing suspicious was found and no arrests were made during the search operation.
Pertinently, search operations were launched yesterday at Saimoh Tral and Dhobi Mohalla Wahibugh area of Pulwama district as well.
