Clashes erupt as pre-dawn CASO underway in Pulwama village

PULWAMA — Government forces on Tuesday launched a pre-dawn cordon and search operation in Bongam Mohalla of Karimabad village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that a joint team of 55 RR, 183 Bn CRPF & SOG are conducting the searches in the area.

Sources said that the search operation was launched following the input about presence of militants in the area.

Door to door search operation is going on in the area.

Meanwhile, clashes erupted between the local youth and the forces.
