SRINAGAR — A couple sustained burn injuries after a gas cylinder exploded at their residence in Parigam area of southern Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday late evening.
Reports from the news agency JKNS said that a gas cylinder exploded in a house in Parigam village of Pulwama, resulting in injuries to the occupants.
A 34-year-old woman and her 32-year-old husband sustained injuries. Both were rushed to the district hospital in Pulwama.
The injured were later referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for advanced treatment. Their condition is stable and they remain under medical observation.
Meanwhile, cognizance of the incident has been taken, and further investigations are underway.
