SRINAGAR — A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Reshipora area of southern Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday, officials said.
The officials, quoted by a local news agency, said that the CRPF jawan posted in 178BN CRPF in Reshipora Shopain shot himself dead with his service rifle this morning.
They said that the body has been shifted to the hospital for autopsy, while police have taken cognisance of the matter.
