GANDERBAL — A truck on way to Leh from Srinagar rolled down and fell into Nallah Sindh this morning near Gagangeer area, but both the driver and the conductor escaped unhurt.
Police sources said that an LP truck (JK02B/5210) met with an accident on Srinagar-Leh highway near Gagangeer area of Gund in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The driver lost control and the truck rolled down deep into Nallah Sindh. Locals, however, rescued both the driver and the conductor and pulled them out from the truck. They came out unhurt.
A police official said that no injury or loss of life was reported in the mishap. He said it was a miraculous escape for the duo.
