Elderly man’s body found under suspicious circumstances in Budgam

SRINAGAR — The body of an elderly man was recovered in a suspicious condition in Wadder Batpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district late on Friday evening.

An official quoted by the news agency Kashmir Scroll said that Budgam Police recovered the dead body of a person namely Ghulam Rasool Bhat, aged about 65 years, son of Ali Mohammad Bhat and a resident of Haproo in Charar-i-Sharief area in a suspicious condition at Wadder Batpora.

He said that proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been initiated and an investigation is going on.
