Five injured as clashes rock Nowhatta post Friday prayers

SRINAGAR — Massive clashes broke out between youth and government forces outside historic Jamia Masjid in old city area of Nowhatta post Friday prayers.

According to reports, around five youth have sustained pellet injuries during clashes with the forces.

Eyewitness alleged that the forces fired pellets at the protesting people near one of the entry gates of grand masjid, triggering chaos around the area.
